2.Maize Maize also known as corn  is a cereal grain first domesticated by indigenous peoples in southern Mexico about 10,000 years ago. it consumed around 885289935 metric tons



3.Rice Rice is the seed of the grass species . As a cereal grain, it is the most widely consumed staple food for a large part of the world's human population, especially in Asia and Africa. It is the agricultural commodity with the third-highest worldwide production ,it consumed around 740961445 metric tons



4.Wheat Wheat is a grass widely cultivated for its seed, a cereal grain which is a worldwide staple food. The archaeological record suggests that wheat was first cultivated in the regions of the Fertile Crescent around 9600 BCE ,it consumed 701395334 metric tons



5.Potatoes The potato is a root vegetable native to the Americas, a starchy tuber of the plant Solanum tuberosum, and the plant itself is a perennial in the nightshade family, Potato consumed 373158351 metric tons



6.Soya Beans The soybean or soya bean  is a species of legume native to East Asia, widely grown for its edible bean, which has numerous uses. it consumed 2362037569 metric tons



7.Cassava- Cassava is the third-largest source of food carbohydrates in the tropics, after rice and maize. Cassava is a major staple food in the developing world, providing a basic diet for over half a billion people.it consumed -25404044 metric tons



8.Tomatoes-The tomato is the edible, often red berry of the plant Solanum lycopersicum, commonly known as a tomato plant. The species originated in western South America and Central America , it consumed -159347031 metric tons



9.Banana- The fruit is variable in size, color, and firmness, but is usually elongated and curved, with soft flesh rich in starch covered with a rind, which may be green, yellow, red, purple, or brown when ripe. The fruits grow in clusters hanging from the top of the plant. Almost all modern edible seedless (parthenocarp) bananas come from two wild species it consumed -107142187 metric tons

As a food item, they are usually served cooked, as a vegetable or part of a prepared savoury dish, but can also be eaten raw or used to make pickles or chutneys. 3.       3. Pork Pork is not only the most popular meat in the Western world and in Central Europe, it is also very popular in the Eastern and non-Muslim parts of IndiaSoutheastern Asia  ,It consumed 118168709 metric tons

4.       4. Goat Milk & Meat Goat meat or goat's meat is the meat of the domestic goat .The common name for goat meat is simply "goat", though meat from adult goats is referred to as chevon,In South Asian and Caribbean cuisine, mutton commonly means goat meat  ,It consumed 20000000 metric tons
